Terms and Conditions

By using our services you agree to the following;


  • Potter industries and David Potter and Christian Potter shall hereby be referred to as Potter industries.
  • Potter industries is NOT liable for lost or stolen or damaged items shipped, mailed or sent by courier of any kind.
  • Following the shipping guidelines does not guarantee your package will arrive undamaged to our shop or back to your address. Potter industries will not be held liable for damaged items even IF the shipping guidelines were adhered to.
  • Failure to follow the shipping guidelines can result in your item(s) not being shipped back you, possibly indefinitely. Potter industries will not ship an item back unless it was shipped according to the shipping guidelines. 
  • Items must be packaged properly in a plastic crate of appropriate size, wrapped in paper and cardboard and the crate must be in a fitted box and taped securely. 
  • Return shipping labels are mandatory. Failure to send a return shipping label will result in your part not being completed and after 90s the job will be cancelled, the part either disposed of or sent to our scrap bin. Potter Industries will issue a refund after 90 days minus processing and handling.
  • Items shipped properly but without proper agreed payment and or return shipping label will not be shipped back, possibly indefinitely. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
  • Any firearm sent to us will be turned in to the police immediately. Potter industries will not be held liable for any action resulting from sending a firearm in the mail.
  • Only NON-firearm components can be sent to Potter industries. You, the customer, are responsible for checking local, state and federal laws to determine what constitutes a firearm. 
  • Other items banned under local, state and federal law like certain magazines, bump stocks or any other non-firearm component may not be sent to Potter industries. Any banned item(s) will be turned in to the police immediately. Potter industries will not be held liable for the loss of, or any consequences of, related to, any banned items sent. 
  • These terms and conditions can be changed at any time and for any reason without notice to you, the customer.

Return and Refund Policy

Potter industries and David Potter and Christian Potter shall hereby be referred to as Potter industries.


  • Potter Industrial has no items to accept as a return. All materials are owned by the customer. All finished work (item(s)) is owned by the customer.
  • If there exists a reasonable expectation that a job (service or work performed) is not satisfactory and reasonable communication existed at the time to expect finished work (service or product(s)) to be acceptable in quality and workmanship and quality and workmanship is considered below what should be reasonably acceptable then a refund may be applied in the amount of price paid for work or service, including tax and shipping charges. 
  • Refunds do not include lost wages or gas or time spent in relation to shipping the item(s) back and forth. 
  • Items being laser engraved must have an estimated value which can be corroborated from reliable sources that said item is valued appropriately and as such, said item may receive a refund of the estimated value of the item if said item is laser engraved improperly. The estimated value is either new or used. If engraved item was sent in as a used, not new item, the estimated value will be based on the item being used.
  • Refunds will be issued in the form of company check. 
  • Potter Industries stand behind the quality of our work. We want all of our customers to be satisfied with the quality of work we perform. While we cannot refund based on just being dissatisfied, as long as a reasonable claim exists and can be easily proven, Potter Industrial has no issue in refunding the cost of services and in some cases the cost of the material sent in. 
  • The refund policy can be changed at any time and for any reason without notice to the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to read and understand the refund policy. This refund policy will not change in order to defraud a customer of their refund provided a valid reason exists for said refund.
